DonDon is a restaurant specialized in Donburi (丼, literally "bowl"), a popular everyday Japanese dish, very tasty, also known for being fast and for having a very affordable price. It consists of meat, vegetables or other ingredients cooked together and served over rice in large bowls. The boiling sauce varies by season, ingredients, region and taste. A typical sauce might consist of dashi mixed with soy sauce and mirin (rice wine).
